Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of four boys, and I've been married for ten years. I sharpen and repair surgical instruments for a living. Me and my boys love being outside and going herping. We don't get to ride much, but we love going dirtbiking. Our family loves making things and doing crafts. It's awesome to see my boys learning how to use tools and machines. I've been a laborer, a mechanic, a meatcutter, a driver and now a surgical instrument specialist for the last 7 years. But my favorite job is being a father and husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon by my single mother. My parents were divorced when I was 4. The church had always been there for our family. For both our physical needs, and our spiritual needs. Growing up without a father in the home, youth activities were usually my only opportunity to be influenced by a positive male role model. I am technically not a convert, but I feel like one every time I have an experience that tests my faith. I have felt such joy in the healing power of the atonement of Jesus Christ that I just wish everyone could have.

How I live my faith

Aside from going to church on Sundays, living my faith is just doing what I know is right. Be a good person, help other people whenever I can. Be a good example to my family and live every day as if they are next to me.
