Hi I'm Tami

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to two year old twin boys. My husband and I have been married for 9 years and went through fertility treatments for 5 years. We were eventually blessed with our beautiful boys. It was such a hard time in our life. Feelings of unworthiness haunted me on a daily basis. It has made us so strong as a couple that I know we can make it through anything. I love being a mom. I love to travel. I love to read. I love to entertain.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my family is the most important thing to me. Through the gospel I have been sealed to my family for eternity. There is nothing more important to me in my life than that. The gospel gives us standards to live by that help our family survive. I don't have to worry what my husband is out doing because his family is important to him and he wouldn't do anything to jeopardize it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service to those around me. I was born with this innate desire to serve others. This gospel gives me all the opportunities I need to serve. I clean a friend's house when I can tell she is overwhelmed with her tasks that day. I watch a friend's kids when she needs a well deserved break with her husband. I give a friend a call when prompted to do so and it makes her day to have someone listen.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Tami
A husband and wife can be together forever, through the restored priesthood and temples we are able to be sealed together for this life and the life to come. We are also able to be sealed to our children and posterity for eternity. Because we will be sealed together forever we will be living together in heaven. Show more Show less
