Hi I'm Denise.

I'm a mother of four, designer, foodie and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a busy mom trying to find the perfect balance. I love to take a room or area and transform them into the vision I see in my mind. Enjoy finding new ways to incorporate the good things in life into my families daily existence. Oh, and I love a really good salad.... and sushi.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been a member all my life, I have always been familiar with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of 7, my parents, along with my 6 brothers and I moved to Japan for 3 years as my father oversaw the missionary work in Kobe. This was a great experience and one that really impacted my life. My parents have had a tremendous influence on me and have provided a great example of what it means to be a Christlike person. I have built upon those early experiences in my life, securing a knowledge for myself that following Christ's example is the way for me to find happiness.

How I live my faith

My faith permeates everything that I do, from caring for my family to serving my neighbors and friends. I have had opportunities to work with women of all ages in our church, from the young children to the elderly widow. I currently work with the Cub Scout age boys in our congregation. This is a great opportunity for me to help teach these boys about the world we live in and how they can best serve those around them. I try daily to infuse my faith into my children's lives, giving them the opportunity to know what I know and to discover their relationship with God for themselves.
