Hi I'm Linda

I'm a native Arizonan. I love all kinds of flowers. Point me to a good book and I'm happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a native Arizonan and still live here. Every summer I wonder why. Every winter I remember why. I'm a retired school teacher. I loved my students and appreciated all that they brought into the classroom. They are what made my 'job' worthwhile. I am a wife and mother. I enjoy camping and getting up to the cooler country. I have chickens, cats, and dogs. I'm a nature person and love seeing the stars at night.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a Mormon when I was young because I was born into a Mormon family. I was a Mormon as a young married adult because I valued the teachings of my family and my church. I am a Mormon today because I know the gospel is true and the one way for me to maintain who I want to be on this earth so that I can live again with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Being active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints means many things. It means remembering the Sabbath is Christ's day. I attend all my meetings and usually stay at home with my family or visit other family members. It is a day when I set aside the things that I can do during the other six days of the week. Being a member means helping the church to live and progress. I do that by accepting callings in the church. I have been a teacher for the younger children, I have taught the young women, and served the women of the ward. I live my faith every day. I am not perfect. There are many things I need to improve in. I try to say my prayers every day. I try to read scriptures every day. I also try to be like my Savior, Jesus Christ, as I deal with my neighbors, friends, and those I meet. Following Jesus Christ helps me live a happy, full, and meaningful life.
