Hi I'm Kellie

I live in Arizona with my husband and our cat! I love, running, reading and hanging out with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, runner and writer. I am the mother to one kitty named, Milo! My husband is going to school and working part-time while while I work full-time. I love spending time with my family, going to movies and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon aka Latter-Day Saint because this gospel is everything to me and without it I don't know how I would find happiness. I have a deep love for my Savior Jesus Christ and being a Latter-Day Saint, our church is centered upon Jesus Christ and His teachings. I am grateful to know I am a daughter of God (Heavenly Father). He truly knows me personally and I'm grateful I know I can pray to him for help whenever needed and that I can express my gratitude to him for my blessings. This gospel of Jesus Christ aka being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ simply brings happiness and joy to my life!

How I live my faith

I participate in being a Latter-Day Saint by serving in the Young Women. The Young Women organization is a group of girls ages 12-17 who lift each other up by friendships and each other's testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I serve as one of the leaders for the 12-13 year old girls and I love teaching them lessons each Sunday at church. Each Wednesday night the youth get together for activities which I attend as well. It is fun for me to show a good example to these young girls and to spend time with them! I also "visit teach" (which is to visit one or two ladies one time per month with a partner). Another woman and I get together and prepare a short "though" to share with the person we visit teach. Though, its really just fun to be able to socialize with these women and to feel their sweet spirits as we discuss life, church, hobbies, etc.
