Hi I'm Troy Bennett

I'm married with 5 kids. I like computers, games, and sports. I work for IBM in technical marketing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being a dad and playing with my kids. I also like computers, games, and sports. My favorite sports are basketball and golf. My favorite games are Puerto Rico, Agricola, and Civilization. I served a mission in Tokyo, Japan and I've traveled to China, England, Ireland, Australia, France, and Czech Republic for work. Someday, I would like to go to Turkey and Egypt.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormons so I grew up in the church. I've always felt church was right and have had a few experiences to help solidify my beliefs. When I first read the Book of Mormon, I got a strong feeling about its truthfulness. I get those same feelings to this day as I'm constantly finding answers to life within its pages.

How I live my faith

I go to church each week. We have lots of opportunities to serve in our church. Recently, our family was able to participate in a service project at a local park and elderly living center. My sons and I have also helped people who are moving in or moving out of the neighborhood, working their Eagle project for the Boy Scouts, and posting flags around the city on national holidays. Each month, I try to visit several families in our church to make sure they're doing okay.
