Hi I'm Danette

I am a wife and a soccer mom. I love to run, cook, and read. I love to be around people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ten years ago I was blessed to marry the love of my life and be sealed for time and all eternity. I graduated from BYU with a history major and psychology minor. Currently I do not work outside the home, but my days are plenty full keeping up with my four sons. I love to read, run, hike and cook for my family. I love being outside and enjoying nature. I have lived in many places throughout the US including Ohio, Colorado, Utah, Texas and Illinois and have been blessed immensely to come in contact with great people and build lasting friendships.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home by parents who both joined the Church in their youth. I am a rule follower and people pleaser by nature so naturally I did not question my faith much as a child, nor as I have grown older. However, I have come to appreciate the pioneering faith of my parents and have had many of my own testimony building experiences. I have come to rely on my knowledge of an all-knowing and loving Heavenly Father and his Son, my Savior in my daily life. The Holy Ghost has testified to me of my Father's love for me, as his daughter, and for my own little family and that through Jesus Christ's atonement and the sealing powers of the temple we can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in our youth program with girls ages 12-18. I am grateful for this opportunity to be around them several times a week and feel of their love for life. I learn from them how to live happy and full lives and make the most of opportunities at a young age. My greatest desire is to help them know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and to learn how to recognize the promptings of the Holy Ghost.
