Hi I'm Marie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I belong to the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I am a retired Army wife. We have seven wonderful children and six of the best grand children. I lived in Utah until age 12, and then moved to Arizona. I married a wonderful man who honors his priesthood.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot imagine my life with being anything else. As my husband was moved to many different places around the world, I would find comfort in knowing that the church would be the same no matter where we moved. Many times in our moves I was able to find people that I could talk to that would help me to remember that I could do anything with the help of the Lord. This would strengthen my testimony, knowing that I was not alone and the Lord knew what I needed at that time. I know that my Redeemer lives and that Joseph Smith restored Christ’s church. We are taught to be loving and kind through the Savior’s example while he was on the earth. The Book of Mormon is an amazing book of scripture that teaches us about a nation and its trials and defeats. It talks of Christ, the things we must do to improve our life and what we need to do to be ready for the second coming of our Savior, just as the Bible taught to be ready for his coming. As I prayed about this book to see if it was true, there came over me a peace and as I read the pages I still have a peace and a love for the people of the Book of Mormon and cannot wait to meet them.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by following the Savior’s example of love and kindness to all I meet, and try to serve my fellow men.
