Hi I'm Christina

I'm a mom, wife, and a substitute teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My most important role in life is being a mom. I love it! I am married with three great kids. I stay at home with them and occasionally substitute at the elementary school. I love to read, draw, play piano and hope to get better at playing the harp someday. I enjoy getting together with my friends, watching movies with my husband, eating out, and shopping! I try to get outside everyday. I love the outdoors and the beauty there. I have a child with a life threatening allergy to peanuts and have learned a lot about dealing with that challenge in life.

Why I am a Mormon

This is simple for me to answer. Because I am happy! It's true. The lifestyle I live, the choices I make and the knowledge that I have make me a happy person. Every decision I am faced with, big or small, is supported by my knowledge of the gospel and is easier to make because I turn to the Lord in prayer for guidance. I have a special perspective on life that makes me enjoy it.

How I live my faith

I think the best reflection of how I live my faith is my kids. I am frequently asked why my kids are so nice. I get compliments from teachers on how respectful and kind my children are. They stand out in a crowd because they choose the right and stick to their beliefs. I hope that how I live and how I teach them has helped them to be who they are. We try to avoid bad language, degrading movies and books, and other things going on around them daily at school. I pray every day for help in my life and for my children. We pray as a family each night. I hope that others see some of my kids' qualities in me. I try to live my faith everywhere I go-be it the school, grocery store, or church.
