Hi I'm Brad

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I work construction. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two boys. I enjoy being with my family. I love to go camping, dirt bike riding, and woodworking. I work construction while I attend college in pursuit of becoming a medical doctor.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of the spirit I have felt throughout my life as I have lived the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know I am a child of God. From a young age I gain a testimony of prayer. It was through prayer that I knew then as I know now, that Heavenly Father is real. He loves me and hears my needs and desires. I gained a testimony that this church is the true Church of Jesus Christ as I knelt in prayer at the age of eighteen. I know The Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that we have a true prophet living today, President Thomas S. Monson. I know families can be together forever through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I know this because I know Heavenly Father loves all of us and he heard my prayer and answered me with an overwhelming feeling of the spirit. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping others. I volunteer as a youth soccer coach in our community soccer league. I am currently the 17 year old Sunday school teacher at my church. My wife and I have been involved with the youth of our ward for a number of years, from ages 18 months to 17 years old. It has also been important to me to help other families through service. When I was young I learned to love serving others with my grandfather. He taught me that service can bring joy and happiness to me and others as we visited families in our church every month. When we serve others, we are in the service of God (Mosiah 2: 17).
