Hi I'm Marlin

I'm a Mormon and have been since a child. Both of my parent were also members since they were children.

About Me

I enjoy playing golf, racketball, softball, basketball, water and snow skiing. I am the middle child of 10 children and now a father of three children. Our last is now in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (or Mormon) all my life. Both of my parents and all of my brothers and sisters are members. I gained an understanding of the doctrine and principles of this church over time. I have finally gained for myself a personal testimony and belief that this church is true. Being a Mormon gives me a solid foundation to live by. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that as I and all people everywhere strive to do what He wants us to do, will can "return" back to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. I say return, because I know we once lived in their presence. I know that as people live the way Jesus wants us to live, we can all live together and be happy.

How I live my faith

The church has taught me a lot of good basic ways to live my life. I have serve my local community on a land commission that helps control the standards of the way we use our land and properties. I am currently the leader over the half of the congregation I attend at church. I help the Bishop of my ward watch over the member, especially the older members who need help.
