Hi I'm Brian

"I'm a Dad to 5 girls and a brand new baby boy. I'm married to my beautiful high schol sweetheart. I love cartoons. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I have been in Arizona all my life and love being here. I am amazed at how much variety there is from the desert to the pine trees and enjoy spending time out in nature. I love to see the looks on my girls' faces when we go out and see the beauty of this state. There is just so much about this life that amazes me and I love being able to experience it. I love playing sports and the feeling of being successful in whatever I try. I also love sharing the simplicity of cartoons with my girls and how creative and funny most of them are. I know all the Disney princesses and can quote more from kids’ movies than I'd care to admit. My favorite part about being a Dad is seeing how my kids look at things and what they are able to accomplish. It's so fun to see myself in them and also how they are like my wife. We are so lucky to have them can't wait to see what they will do next. Life is always full of surprises but facing it with a family makes it so much easier to make it through.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it allows me to be close to my Savior and understand his Gospel more easily. I have never had any doubt about Him or the Church even though I have faced challenges like everyone else. I am glad to have knowledge of how we can be happy and this has helped me avoid many problems that exist in the world. I have found that when I do my best to live the gospel, most things work out for the best. I also find such peace from the simplicity of the gospel and the knowledge that the plan is there for everyone. While it is not always easy to make the right choice, knowing the correct path makes it much easier. It also makes me so happy to know that I can be with my family forever, if we just keep the commandments. I know that my Savior lives and that this is his restored gospel on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that we are led by a living prophet today. I am grateful for all the church has meant to me and what it has and continues to teach me and my family.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the church shapes almost every aspect of my life. It seems like we are always doing something related to the church. There are plenty of moves, service & eagle projects, as well as campouts and activities during the week. I have the opportunity now to be in the Bishopric and serve all of the members of our ward. This is a busy but very rewarding calling because I get to see so much good happen all the time. This allows me to work closely with the youth and help them learn and grow. I have also always enjoyed the chance to be a home teacher and watch out for a couple of families. We get to visit them each month and share a simple message and be a support to them. I learned how important this is from by dad as I went with him each month growing up. I am so grateful for the people that I have come to know through the church and sharing all of these types of experiences.
