Hi I'm Tallie

I'm a mechanical engineer. I'm an attorney. I'm a wife. I'm a stay at home mom of three children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After high school, I went to college majoring in mechanical engineering. It was tough being one of just a few women in the major. When I finished my degree in engineering, I attended law school. Then I started work as intellectual property attorney specializing in patents, trademarks and copyrights. Shortly after graduating from law school, I met my husband who is also a mechanical engineer. Once we started having children, I started working part time from home as an attorney and full time as a stay at home mom. I have three beautiful children and I have to admit that being a stay at home mom is the toughest thing I've ever done.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but that isn't all of the story. I have had to gain a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel just like everyone else has. Through many different experiences in my life, I have gained a testimony of the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for each of us, his children. I have learned the value he places on each of his little ones and the importance of the family in his eternal plan. I know that through tough times in our lives, Heavenly Father refines us into the people that we can be. I know that the gospel is true and that it is a message of joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service in my church. I teach the women in the church. Once a month, I get the opportunity to study a new gospel principle and to teach it to the women and to learn from them. I learn more from these lessons than I'm sure anyone listening to me does. I also visit several women in the ward. Through our visits, we have become good friends and we love and support one another.
