Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I am happily married to my beautiful wife. We have one little girl and another on the way. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ where I have lived pretty much my whole life. At the age of 19, I choose to serve a mission for my church. I was called to serve in the Veracruz, Mexico mission where I spent 2 years teaching and helping others. Upon returning, I got a job at the Mesa, AZ temple where I work as a gardener/landscaper. While working with a group of volunteers on one Saturday, I met a beautiful young lady. Upon building up my courage, I finally asked her for her number. We went on our first date out to the desert. I guess you can say that things clicked. About 9 months later, we were married in the Mesa, AZ temple. My wife and I now have a beautiful little daughter and another on the way. I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I am in the process of applying to veterinarian school and hope that by this time 2012, I can be found in veterinarian school.

Why I am a Mormon

One reason that I have chosen to become a Mormon is due to my parents. My parents choose to raise their family in the same church as I am in. However, my parents did not force me to join this church. I joined because of the the things I have learned and the feelings that one has when going to church and listening to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Now, married and many years later, I still feel those same feelings as I attend church. I love this gospel and am grateful for the blessings I have received from it.

How I live my faith

As a member of this Church, one may obtain callings or responsibilities within the church. When my wife and I first moved into the house we were in, we received a very warm welcoming. Soon after arriving, the church called me to be a teacher teaching the 14-15 year old's. I enjoyed the calling. However, soon after, I was given the calling of the ward clerk. Basically what I do is help with the financial and membership records of the ward in which I am in. I make sure that all transactions are recorded properly and that the records of all the members are updated when they need to be. I enjoy the calling. It allows me to work with great people and to meet knew people on a weekly basis.
