Hi I'm Camilla

I am a kindergarten teacher, a wife, a world traveler and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HI! I am a true Arizona native. I love the heat, the desert, mountains and being outdoors. I lived in the same house for 30 years. I paided my whole way through college by working lots and lots of hours. I now have a B.S. and Masters in Education. I love to teach and I love kids! My fondest memories are of hiking and camping with my family. I love to travel to different countries and experience life there and meet all the wonderful people around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon for many reasons. I love the knowledge that I gain by knowing the purpose I am here on Earth. The plan makes perfect sense. I love knowing that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and every little thing I do. I know that He helps me and watches over me every day, every minute, every second. I am grateful for His son, Jesus Christ, and for his sacrifice that He made so that I can return and live with my Heavenly Father again. The gospel of Jesus Chist gives me hope for the future and the faith to make every day rightous decisions. Because of the gospel, I will know that I will see my little sister that passed away many years ago. I will be able to see her again and give her a great big hug and kiss! I know that my husband and I can be an eternal family, not just in this life, but in the next. I have a testimony that there are prophets on the earth that let us know what God wants us to do. We have scriptures that help lead us. Everything happens for a reason, and Faith in God makes all things possible. There is a plan, if we follow the plan, we will have eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by looking for ways to serve others and make them happy. I live my faith by helping others smile. In my ward, I am a leader for the teenage girls, ages 12-18. I am mentoring and teaching them how to be good citizens, a wife and a good mother. Hopefully they will learn from my example and other wonderful women and follow the examples they are given. I am one of the many leaders that teach them every week on Sunday and help plan with the youth weekly activities that help them become a better person.
