Hi I'm Hayley

I am from Arizona, I am an ASU graduate, a loving wife, a soon to be first time mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Hayley. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and love it here! I have great parents and one awesome brother. Growing up I was very involved in competitive gymnastics until I was 18. I also love to dance! I am a recent college graduate in Tourism Development and Management and hope to use that and go into event planning. I love weddings and planning so a Wedding Planner I hope to be. I met my husband when I was 15 and after he returned home from his mission to Brazil we got married in 2009. We have two dogs, a boxer and german shephard, that we LOVE like they are our kids. However, I am currently pregnant and getting ready to have our first baby! I love my family, my life, my friends, and I love being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to this church. Growing up I had many girlfriends that were LDS that I did gymnastics with. As we got a little older, around age 14/15 I starting attending church activities they invited me to. I also met the boy who would later become my husband during that time as well. All of them were an amazing influence and are still my best friends to this day. In highschool and in my early college years I hung out with many return missionaries that I attended singles ward with and participated in the activities that were appropriate for them. I decided that I would allow the missionaries to start teaching me the gospel principles of the church. I think before I even started the lessons I knew the church was true and what I wanted to be a part of. However, that doesnt mean that the decision on converting came easy. I was worried about what my parents would think, what my friends would think, and if I was really doing all this for the right reasons. One night I got down on my knees and broke down my pride wall, let all my worries go, and prayed whole heartedly to heavenly father to please tell me if this was the right decision for me. The next morning I woke, and all was clear! I knew all along it was true and it didnt matter what others were going to think because this was my life and what was best for me! I can not be happier to have made that decision to be baptized, it has been such a blessing in my life! I am thankful that I can be with my husband and family for all eternity and I love the influence it has on my everyday life. I know I am suppose to be a part of this church and I am thankful to Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and all those people who didnt give up on me...I am Proud to a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. Living this faith is being a good example, doing the right things, and helping others. I attend church every Sunday and have been called to teach the 9/10 year old girls in Primary. I love the girls I teach, they are so willing to learn and I get to learn right along with them. I live my faith through daily prayers, scripture reading, and family activity lessons.
