Hi I'm Angela

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. As you can see I have many titles but the one that I treasure and have the same with everyone who might read this is "I am a child of God." I learned this at a very young age. This knowledge has helped me in everything I have done my whole life. As a youth I have always liked sports and the feeling of belonging to a team. I was never the star player on any team that I particapated in, and most of the time never a starting player but I enjoyed the practice and the training and the rewards of working together and improving myself and helping others succeed. I love having my children particapate in teams because I know they can learn many life skills that will help them have a successful life. I tended to be the loudest mom in the crowd at many sporting events. I love the mountains and the smell of the tall pine trees with all of nature around me ,so camping is something I enjoy doing with family. On the other hand I love the ocean. Walking on the sand in bare feet. Watching the tide go in and out. And there is nothing so beautiful as the sun setting over the ocean horizon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that had choosen to be members of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My father taught my mother and her mother and sister the gospel at age 19. My mother at the time was sixteen. After my mom was baptised they got married and started a life together in Ohio. I am the youngest of 3 children. Like I said I was raised in the church and I learned at a very young age that I was special because I was a child of God, a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knew me personally and cared for my happiness. Besides my family,I had loving primary leaders who taught me and at the age of 8 I choose to become baptized. And as I grew up and went into young womens I continued to learn more and more about my purpose on this earth life. I gained a testimony for myself at age 14 when I read the Book of Mormon as a challenge by my seminary teacher because I wanted to know for myself that the church I had grown up in was true. I read the Book Of Mormon on my own and when I finished I knelt in prayer as I had been taught and asked my Heavenly Father if all that I read was true. I heard no voices and saw no visions but I felt something that I have never felt before and knew it was an answer from my Heavenly Father. Since then with all of lifes challenges I can still remember that overwelming feeling of love and comfort and know that I am exactly in the place that my Father in Heaven can teach and direct me to be able to return to him when this life on earth for me is completed.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of this church. Just like being on a team. We all work together striving for the same goal. To belong to an eternal family and find joy in this life and the one to follow. The beauty of belonging to this gospel is you never feel alone. Everyone has different circumstance and may be at different stages of their spiritual growth. We have all been given different trials to face. There is always someone that is there to help in a time of need. People have been put into leadership positions and do not recieve payment for all the time they spend in the members behalf. They choose to do what is required because they follow the example of our brother Jesus Christ and have charity for their fellow brothers and sisters. I have had many positions in the churches oranizations and have enjoyed everyone of them and I feel I have learn more by giving the service than anyone I have ever served could have but I also know that I have been a helping hand to my Heavenly Father in lifting someone up and helping them on the path of this earthly life. I have taught children and youth and find joy in teaching them who they are and why they are here and where they are going. Just like I learned as a child that I Am A Child Of God.i It has made me the person I am today and directed my choices to follow the Saviors example.
