Hi I'm Beth Horan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Coltman Idaho and I love it! I come from a family of nine, my mom and dad, two older brothers, two older sisters, and two younger sisters. I was home schooled until 2013 then I went to a private academy for a year. I enjoy having fun with my family, they are my best friends. Three of my older siblings are married and have kids, I love being an aunt it is so much fun. I love riding horses, playing with dogs, working in the garden and mostly anything you can do out side. Right now I am serving a 18 month volunteer mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alabama. It is the hardest thing I have ever done, but it is also the best.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know for my self that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ church. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to be His prophet. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that He loves me. I am a Mormon because I have lived the teachings of the Church. And it says in John 7:17, that "if any man will do His will he will know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of my self." Because I have lived and tried the teachings of the Church I know they are from God. I would invite all to find out for themselves. Read the Book of Mormon, and ask God if it is true. Then act in faith, believing that He will answer you. I can promises you that He will answer you, because He has answered me. "But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an EXPERIMENT upon my words, and exercise a PARTICLE of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than DESIRE to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words." ( Alma 32:27)

How I live my faith

I am not a perfect person. I make many mistakes everyday. But I have come to know that the Lord does not expect us to be perfect, he only expects us to keep trying to be perfect. So everyday I try to do better than I did the day before. I try to keep the commandments the Lord has given me. It is hard sometimes to be patent with my family and friends and do what is right but I try to remember the savior and act as he would want me to.
