Hi I'm Scott

I am a husband, a father of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. I am a Buyer for Costco Wholesale and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to the love of my life, Beverly. We just celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary. We have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. I work as a Senior Buyer for Costco Wholesale. It is a great company and has helped me grow and develop as a person as well as providing for my familys temporal needs. I love to play basketball, participate in a Family Fanatasy Football League with my children and am an avid watcher of UFC.

Why I am a Mormon

Family is the most important organization in my life. I am deeply connected to my family and have found that the experiences and trials of being married and raising a family have helped me grow in ways that no other organization could have provided. The phrase "Families can be together forever" is a universal truth that brings me joy and comfort. I can't think of a better gift from our Father in Heaven of allowing these family relationships between husband and wife, parent and child to continue beyond the grave. The term "Till death do we part" has no place in the Mormon doctrine. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity of being with my wife forever and having a relationship with my parents and past family members and a continued relationship with my children and grandchildren and those family members that come after me. I can't think of any greater gift than the blessing that our Heavenly Father has offered His children.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church in a leadership role. I think that leading by example is the best way to demostrate to others that I am committed to following the path that Jesus Christ has established for us. Service is essential in growing closer to God and when you are in the service of your fellow man you are in the service of your God. I make an effort to read scriptures and have dailey prayer
