Hi I'm Jonathan

I grew up in Tacoma, I served my country in the armed forces I provide care as a healthcare tech. and yes I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After serving in the military I bacame a healthcare worker, I'm married and father of four outstanding children, I love to barbeque spend time with my family and outside of my family my passion is fishing, flyfishing to be precise.

Why I am a Mormon

After courting my wife and finding that I was in love with her and telling her so, she told me that I couldn't give her what she wanted, after asking what that was stated,"A man of the church." I will admit the first ten minuets of the first lesson that I took with the missionaries was to become closer with my wife, but I felt something that I had never experienced before having a conversation about God, scripture or anything spiritual, it was joy and love beyond compare, and soon after meeting with those two young men they wanted to schedule a time that we could meet again for another lesson, I wanted to schedule my baptism. What I didn't know then that I know now what I was feeling was the holy spirit bearing witness to my heart that what I had heard for that brief hour was not only true but what was missing in my life, that this church is true, that the gospel has been restored on earth and that my/our redeemer lives and that he knows and loves each and everyone of us and I bear my testimony to that fact.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church, being an example to my children by not living by the prevailing standards that are effecting the world today, doing my best to magnify my calling as a hometeacher, ward missionary, and teacher to the best of my ability, and putting Heavenly Father at the center of every aspect of my life, may it be at home or work.
