Hi I'm Polly

I'm a happy wife and a mom of eleven children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy woman married to a wonderful man. We have been married for 23 years and have a great family! I enjoy simple pleasures like a hug around my leg or neck from little arms, homemade bread, an organized home, family dinner time, and Friday night dates. I love music. I studied piano from the age of seven into my college years. I earned my B.S. in geography and minored in music. My favorite movie is "Pride and Prejudice" (the long version). I like getting my hair done, shopping, and indulging in anything chocolate. I also like organizing a room or closet, and being able to purchase something for less than the asking price.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an LDS family. My childhood was a happy one. I think it was happy because my parents did their best to live by the principles found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had my own conversion to these teachings and principles and find that when I live them I am most happy. My husband and I share the same goal. We want to be together forever. We teach our children about Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness and hope they will also have a desire to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Savior, who makes it possible to become like our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

My most important role is that of wife and mother. It takes the majority of my time. After that my church responsibilities have me working with children ages 18 months through 11 years old. We meet each Sunday for gospel-centered lessons and singing that focus on the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Church has an organization for women ages 18 years and up. Its purpose is to increase individual righteousness, strengthen home and family, and seek out those who are in need. I am assigned to regularly visit four other women who belong to this same organization. We look after each other and our families.
