Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon, and an adult convert to the church. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the most precious gift I have been given.

About Me

I am a mother and grandmother. I work as a network technician. I enjoy the outdoors, biking and hiking. My hobbies include sewing, quilting, reading, and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries knocked on my door one day, and talked about Jesus and the restored gospel. They gave me a Book of Mormon and challenged me to read it, and said they would return in a week. Since I was looking for church at that time, I took on the challenge and read the book, That's all it really took, the book is true and is a powerfull witness of Jesus Christ. The scriptures answered questions I had about family and the life after this mortal existence. I was convinced. I had read the book and prayed for an answer as to wheter it was true or not, and I got my answer that it was ture, and the restored church was too. Not long after I read the Book of Mormon, I had the opportunity to watch General Conferece and listented to latter day prophets talk about what I needed, it was very powerful. I am very grateful to those two young men who came to my door and let me learn about the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Relief Socity choirster, that is I conduct hymns in the women's meeting each week. It's fun and made me learn a lot about music and sacred hymns. I have served in many callings, cub scouts, young childrens programs and adult leader. Each calling allowed me to grow and stretch and serve my friends and neighbors.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?
