Hi I'm Kristina.

I've grown up in Washington all my life. I come from a family of 6 kids. I love to travel and learn new thing! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but raised in Washington. Washington is my home and it caters to my needs and hobbies so wonderfully. I love the combination of ocean and mountains, city and country, clouds and clear skies. I love to hike, bike, and paint. I believe a good book or movie is a great way to end the day. My friends know that music and concerts are definitely my thing and Seattle is where it's at! My family is HUGE and I love them so much! I enjoy taking my nieces and nephews out and showing them new things, that’s the greatest part of being their aunt. I am currently preparing to go on a mission and CANNOT wait for that day when I receive my calling!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I've been born to parents who absolutely know this but it did not guarantee that I would know for myself. But through tons of personal study, prayer and thought, and a series of experiences I absolutely know that this church is true! I’ve seen the difference of having the gospel vs. not having it and I choose to have in my life! Because of the scriptures, I know that I have the opportunity to spend eternity with my family and there is nothing I would do to compromise this promise that the Lord has given to us. I love the scriptures, I love the Lord, and I love our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my everyday actions. I study the scriptures and pray daily. Each week I attend church, meetings, and church activities. I have two callings in my ward, one being ward missionary and the other young single adults’ representative, and I take on weekly assignments based on each calling. I go visiting teaching, which is to visit a number of ladies in the ward, bring them a lesson, see how they’re doing, and offer them any help or service that they or their families may need. It’s a great way to get to know the members and to take care of our family, which is what we all are! I think one of the best ways I live my faith is through example. I don’t drink or smoke, I don’t swear, I keep my end of the conversation clean and positive and when I’m out with friends or strangers who are not members of the church, they notice. I am so grateful for the church and because of it I love the way I live my life!
