Hi I'm Doug Epperson

I grew up in Colorado and now after 30 years of being gone, I am living again in Colorado. I love it here. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 great kids and a wonderful wife. As a family we have lived in Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, and now Windsor, Colorado. I have been in some sort of sales my whole career. I started in Grocery Sales with General Foods and moved to pharmaceutical sales after about 9 years. I have been working for Abbott Laboratories for the past 15 years. Now that the kids are older, I have time for some hobbies. I like to play tennis and just bought a new bike. We have lots of great trails around us so I anticipate riding quite a bit.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon, but my parents were converts. I had to learn for myself what I believed. I did make mistakes along the way and didn't always live up to the standards as I should, but I did try. I did study, and seek the Lord's witness to find out if what I was taught by my parents and at church was true. I did receive an answer that it was. This was a turning point in my life. Although I still make plenty of mistakes, I know the Atonement of Jesus Christ applies to me just as it applies to you. I know I am a son of a God that loves us unconditionally. I am so thankful for this knowledge. It blesses my life so much.

How I live my faith

I have had the great opportunity to serve in the church for many years working with the youth. I find them to be quite remarkable. They seem to be much stronger in their faith than my generation. They are inspriational to me. I'm grateful I've had years of working with them. Serving in various capacities in the church is a great blessing. I find my life goes so much better when I am serving others rather than focusing on myself.
