Hi I'm Peter

I'm a Washingtonian. I'm a member of a large family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I'm fifteen, a sophomore in high school. I have six other siblings, five sisters and a brother. Yes, it's sometimes annoying having so many sisters, but life isn't fair, as they say. :) For sports, I do cross country and track, and ballroom dance, which I've just started. My oldest brother and two oldest sisters have both attended BYU Provo, and so far that is my top choice for college. I'm also going to go on an mission either when I'm nineteen or twenty, depending on if I chose to do a couple of semesters at college before my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom and dad are not converts to the church, have both gone on missions, and have continued to be active in the church, as I have. I choose to stay active in the church because I have a testimony that it is the true church on the earth. I know that Jesus Christ really did atone and die for us on the cross, that he was resurrected, and that I can repent because of his sacrifice. I know that Joseph Smith did see God the Father and his Son, and that Heavenly Father helped Joseph Smith translate the Book of Mormon and restore the gospel back onto the earth. Why do I know these things? Because these truths have been confirmed through the Holy Ghost, as I have studied the scriptures and prayed. I am grateful for my testimony, and I hope that I can bring many people to Christ, because He wants everyone to be happy and to live with Him someday.

How I live my faith

In the church, I am the president over the 14-15 year olds in my ward, and I go home teaching, meaning I visit members of my ward periodically each month. I am thankful for these opportunities to bear my testimony to others.
