Hi I'm Sam

I was born and raised in New York. I'm a lover of all things chocolate. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in New York then moved out west for school. I am the second oldest of four children. I graduated in Elementary Education and currently teach fourth grade. I have lived abroad and love teaching children of all cultures and backgrounds. I LOVE everything about teaching as it has taught me more about the character of God and how much He loves His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am an inquisitive person by nature; I have always been one to ask "why". I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a place in which all of my questions, all of my "why's" can be answered. I am a Mormon because I know that the principals and doctrines taught within the LDS church are true. I am a Mormon because nothing in my life brings me greater joy than the gospel of Jesus Christ and the relationships I have developed because of it, most especially my relationship with my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the small and simple things each day. It is through daily communication with God through prayer, studying scriptures, and reflecting that I am able to be guided in my life and serve others. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints provides many opportunities to serve those around us and as I take advantage of those opportunities, and seek them out on my own, I draw closer to my Heavenly Father and my faith is strengthened.
