Hi I'm Sarah James

I'm an Actor. I'm an Art History Enthusiast. I'm a Spongebob Fanatic. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, student, disney lover, doodler, sports fan, videogame nerd, cartoon-watcher, lead foot car driver, travelor, pianist, cookie maker, and art curator. I love EVERYTHING basically. I feel that God has given us so much to enjoy in this world and so I enjoy as much as I can of it! I think that everyday should be a "YAY DAY!" - attitude is EVERYTHING here on Earth. I want to make every second count, and so i do all and everything I can to truly have happiness in this life.

Why I am a Mormon

Although i love all those 'About Me' interests - the thing that brings me the greatest happiness in this life is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When i actually live what Christ taught, then i gain so much more peace and joy than i ever though possible. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and i want to follow Him as closely as I can...but of course I'm human and everyday i fall short - THANK GOODNESS FOR THE ATONEMENT! I am the happiest when i am changing to become more like Him, because he is my ROCK. Without the Savior, nothing for me is possible. I didn't always grow up believing this, i struggled to find my own testimony of the Savior and His love for me. When i was in my late teens i realized that i needed to find out what I believe in, not my parents, grandparents, friends, or anyone - but what I DID. So I realized that I needed to read the Book of Mormon and find out if it was true, because if it was true then Joseph Smith was a prophet, and then that means that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's true church on the earth today. I started reading and after quite some time i decided to pray about it - i was expecting angels to come and sing a Hallelujah chorus to me, but that never happened. My faith was shaken, but i decided that I needed to read it again...the second time I pondered much more about the message that the Book of Mormon contained and when i prayed about it again a very distinct phrase came into my head telling me that the book was true and told me to stop being a nutter and stop questioning it. Ever since then my desire to follow Christ increased and i have never been happier.

How I live my faith

I am serving in Mesa, Arizona as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and it has been the most amazing experience of my life. Getting up every morning and knowing that God is using me as a tool to invite all to come unto Christ. I love sharing my testimony with everyone about how God loves them infinitely, and how their lives can change drastically as they put their trust in God.
