Hi I'm Cristina.

I grew up in Paraguay, I enjoy playing with my kids and playing sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Before I became a mom I loved to spend a lot of time swimming and hanging out with friends. I absolutely love dancing so when I was a teenager I spent most of my Saturday nights going to different dances from my school and I just loved it. Now I am married and we have 3 beautiful children and I spend my of my time in raising my kids. I love being a mom and the joys and tears that come with that. I am married to a wonderful man. He has truly blessed my life and my children's lives. He truly is an example of patience, love and sacrifice.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 18 years old. I came to the USA to take some English classes and then I decided to go to the University here and after that, without realizing it at the time, my life changed forever. I started going to school to get my bachelors and that's when I met a member of the LDS church. At that time I was currently attending another church but I was surprised at how this friend of mine lived the teachings of Jesus every day and I wanted to know more. After taking the discussions, praying, and attending church I knew I wanted to join the LDS church. Now I love having the gospel in my life. It gives me such a clear understanding about our mission here on this earth. I am grateful to know about God's plan for me and am grateful for the meaning it gives to my life. More than anything else I love the knowledge that as part of God's plan of happiness it is possible to live with our families forever because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I am teaching the youth of the church and I love it. I had had the opportunity to teach the little children and also the women of the church and I have truly enjoyed all of them. It is such a blessing to be able to serve others. Living my faith has became a part of my life since the day I made the decision to join the church by being baptized. I am a full time mom and I wouldn't change that for anything in this world. It is an honor to be called "mom" and a privilege to teach my kids about Jesus and our Heavenly Father. My faith is centered in Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation which allows us to return to live with God. I try each day to be more like Jesus and to follow His example and when I am tempted to follow my own desires I always remember Him and what He has done for all of us. We all have a mission here on this earth and I hope to fulfill it as well as I possibly can.
