Hi I'm Courtney

I'm a wife and a mother. I got a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho, but currently I am living in Nebraska as my husband continues his education. After two and a half years of coping with infertility, we were blessed with our first child last year. I was working at the child development center located in the hospital until our son joined our family and now I am grateful that I get to stay home with him. I find joy in dancing and have danced since I was a young girl. I also enjoyed teach dance classes when I lived in Idaho. I enjoy playing softball and have enjoyed playing on community teams and our high school team.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon religion, but just being born into it doesn't mean I automatically believed in all the gospel principles and doctrine. I had to gain a testimony of my own regarding the things I was being taught and seek out for myself if I believed them to be true. I prayed about things I was taught at church and felt them to be correct. Though I have never had one specific incident that makes me KNOW this church is true, there have been many experiences that have compounded upon each other and have built my faith and belief in this gospel into what it is today. I absolutely love that the church focuses so much on families and I am so grateful for my knowledge of the "Plan of Salvation." I know that I will be with my family for eternity, not just while on this earth. My brother passed away while I was attending college and it gives me great comfort to know that I will be with him again as long as I live my life in accordance to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by dressing modestly, use clean respectful language, and serving those around me. I show my high standards through example. I a, blessed to work with the youth in our church. I diligently teach them about the gospel through Sunday lessons and I help create weekly activities for them to participate in that are clean and wholesome.
