Hi I'm Zonnie

Previously a 911 Dispatcher I am now married to my sweetheart & mother to a daughter, 3 step-daughters, and a brand new baby boy!

About Me

I am so blessed to be married to a kind and loving man who takes his family duties seriously. My husband is such a hard worker and I am appreciative of that! It provides me with an opportunity to be a stay at home mom to our adorable little boy and his 4 older sisters! We are a combined family so we do not have the privilege of always being together but when we are all together you would never know we were combined! We are all so grateful for each other and enjoy learning and growing together as we experience the world around us! Being a combined family has taught us to make the most of every moment we have together and to cherish those memories! I love to plan family vacations and document our family life through pictures, video and writing. My family is so important to me! I feel a great responsibility to provide each of my girls with experiences and knowledge that will help them be strong leaders in this crazy world. Now with the addition of our little boy I am excited to learn new things with him and help him as well to learn how to be a contributing member of society and a strength to those around him. I love to see how each of our children grow and develop their own personalities and talents over the years! Our life is by no means stress free but if I keep in mind why we are doing all of this it makes the day-to-day hustle and bustle easier to endure and even enjoy!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and grew up never fully realizing the blessings it provided me in my life. I now realize that it helped me establish a strong foundation on which I could build a solid and happy life. I have at times in my life been more active in the church than at others and as I look back over those times when I was most active, I realize now that those were the times when I was the most happy and at peace. There is much peace and joy that comes from living a life of service and most importantly knowing that you are not alone in this world. If there is anything in this life that I know for sure it is that we have a loving Heavenly Father that does care a great deal about us and want us to be happy!

How I live my faith

One of my favorite ways to serve in the church has been to oversee, teach and plan activities for the children age 11 and younger in our area. I enjoyed teaching them the basic concepts and principals of the gospel because it helped be become a better person and a better parent to my own kids. It was so rewarding to see a child learn and understand that we have a Heavenly Father who loves each and every one of us as individuals. I have also taught Sunday lessons in our Women's meetings. I know I learned more from these lessons than I taught! It is a wonderful feeling to be a part of a world wide sisterhood! Each of my opportunities to serve in the church have helped me become more aware of myself and my weaknesses and how I can improve myself each day.
