Hi I'm Caity

I'm a high schooler, I love to life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for life! I love to see the beauty in everyday things like a cool breeze in the summer or my favorite song on the radio. I love traveling and seeing the world God has created. The serenity of forests and sand beneath my feat are my favorite places to be. I hope to study anthropology in college and learn about worldwide cultures of history and modern day. I also love to dance. I love lyrical style and being able to touch someones heart through the stories and emotions that can be conveyed through my dancing. As I have gotten older, I have realized my potential as a daughter of God. This life He has given me is such an incredible gift and I am so excited to live a full life that is led by the words and example of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the church on May 7, 2005 when I was 8 years old. I will never regret that decision for my entire life. It has brought me so much joy and peace! I am a Mormon because I want to return to Heavenly Father when I move on from this life. Heavenly Father has promised that if we live a faithful and righteous life we will be blessed in many different ways. I never feel alone whether I am at school or home, our Father in Heaven always has a comforting presence. My greatest accomplishments couldn't have happened without the prayers and faith I put into them. When I am going through a trial, I can turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer and ask for the strength to overcome the challenges. Through our Savior, Jesus Christ, I can always know that there is a fresh start for me when I slip up. He has promised us that when we do our part, He will do His and help us to have peace and happiness in our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by doing little things that, when added together, help me to be a happy person. From dressing modestly and taking care of my body to not cussing or gossiping, I am able to feel close to my Father in Heaven. With my standards of living I am able to walk in the footsteps of Christ and try my best to become like Him. At church I am a leader among the Young Women my age. We help each other to live to our potential and have to Holy Spirit in our lives. As a leader in school I try to be an example of my faith and standards so that I can make the environment around me a happy and safe one. When I am able to be myself and have fun with my friends, I don't have to worry about not having the Holy Sprit's guidance throughout the day. I love attending church every Sunday and being reminded of God's love for me. By being an active participant in the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I am constantly being reminded that i am a daughter of God and I can reach my potential through Him.
