Hi I'm Clark

I'm an Arizona Native, sports lover, church goer, Medical Assistant, outdoors fan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in the same area my whole life. I am the 4th of 6 kids in my family and the oldest of 3 boys. Growing up I was the typical young boy and I enjoyed riding bikes, playing sports (mostly baseball), and being outdoors. I was involved in the Boy Scouts of America where I learned to love and respect nature. I later became involved with my local Police Explorers Troop and enjoyed learning the different styles and techniques of building searches, traffic stops etc. In High School I was involved in choir and drama. I was also my High School Mascot my 11th & 12th grade years and was on the team that put together the daily televised announcements. After High School I went to school to become a Certified Medical Assistant and enjoy working with patients in trying to improve their quality of life. I find great joy in helping people.

Why I am a Mormon

I know what it is like to be without the Mormon Church. I was raised in the church but in my late teens I fell away from the church thinking my life would be fine without it. I found that my life was missing something though and after a few years I started attending the Catholic Church with a girl I was dating at the time. The Catholic Church filled part of that void that was missing in my life so I made the decision to be baptized. A few years later I noticed that I still had that void. I wasn't truly happy in my work life, personal life, or my church life and I needed a change. I removed everything from my life that I thought was important at that time. I started going back to school to become a Medical Assistant. My life was looking up until one day everything came crashing down. I tried to remember when the last time I was truly happy and my life felt full and I realized it was when I was active in the Mormon Church. I made the decision at that time to start going back. That decision was the best one in my life to date. Yes life still has it's ups and downs but now I have friends with the same values and beliefs as myself who are there to help me through the down times and celebrate during the ups. The void in my life has been filled and my cup is running over. I know and have received my own testimony that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are true. I have been on the other side and have seen the dark and dreary ways. The light of Christ shines in our world today. I now look forward to finding a worthy daughter of God, falling in love and the chance we'll have to be husband and wife for all of time and eternity. I look forward to starting a family and sharing the blessings of the Church with them. I love God for his Plan of Happiness for all of us, my older brother Jesus Christ for his selfless atonement and the love that they both have for me.

How I live my faith

Lately I have had the chance to serve my Ward Family as a Co-Chair on our Activities Committee. With this calling comes the stressful opportunity to plan activities for the Ward that are fun, service oriented, or spiritual. I wouldn't have passed this calling up for anything. It has given me a chance to learn how to organize things hopefully in preparation for my future. I also am blessed to have the chance to Home Teach a home of beautiful, spiritual Sisters in my Ward and to visit with them regularly as I try to enhance their spiritual experiences as well as help them with obstacles in their daily lives. I try to remember daily that I am a Son of God, he has a plan for me and as long as I follow the Spirit my life will continue to receive the blessings he has in store for me.
