Hi I'm D... and I'm a mormon.

In high school I ran with the cross country team. For the last 30 years I've been paid to run numbers for safety assessments.

About Me

I'm a happy camper in the Seattle area.

Why I am a Mormon

I have friends of various religions and have found the teachings of our church to be both uplifting and logical. I am especially impressed that God still speaks to my heart (if I will listen and do as prompted) and that he continues to direct good men everywhere. I enjoy the teachings of our current leaders, and find in those who direct the church the best combination of excellent choices made in their own families and professions. I like the concept of local leaders having normal families and jobs, without getting paid to preach and administer. Mormonism is about the here and now of daily life, and the life we will live after death made possible by the Savior of all men. Mormonism has truly blessed my life and the lives of my family.

How I live my faith

Scripture study, service to others, and prayer top the list of ways my faith is increased. In working with the young men of the church, I can see on a weekly basis how making good choices leads to happier lives.
