Hi I'm Patrick

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Automobile Salesman for the Worlds Largest Dodge Dealer. My work keeps me pretty busy just like most average people today but my family is still the most important thing in my life. I spent most of my life in the Restaurant Industry and moved around for work so my kids were in school in several places in Washington State, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota and Iowa. I have five children. As a teenager I left home and never returned until I was an adult. I started working fulltime at a very young age and have always worked. In my youth I spent time in many areas of the country including the south where I was born.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion story isnt neccesarily unique and I cant go into all the details, but the short version is that during the time I was "away" from home as a youth I ended up in some trouble. During this time an aquaintance invited me to a meeting he was having in the facilities library. We walked in and there were 2 young men who taught us the gospel. Within a few days I was released and sought out the Missionaries who continued to teach me and was Baptized within a couple days. I later learned that my Mother had joined the church when I was born and I had been blessed as an infant. The family was inactive long before the time I left home. Most of my Family was in the process of return to the Church at almost the same time as I was joining, all in different parts of the country. There were many things that occurred in my conversion that convinced me that miracles still happen, even today.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in local Church leadership for the past several years, working with the adult males in our area. I am responsible for assigning the males in my congregation to do Home Teaching and track theyre progress. My family routinely is involved in service projects, whether local move ins and outs or on a larger scale such as this weekend where our larger group from our "stake" organization will do our annual "helping hands" project. I continue to teach on Sundays and stay involved throughout the week
