Hi I'm Babette

I have 4 kids and 3 grandkids. I love my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of 30 years, a mother of 4, and a grandmother of 3 (soon to be 4!) I work on-call as a Health Unit Coordinator in a local Hospital Emergency Room. I am taking piano lessons (trying to finish what I started as a child!) I am very involved with my extended family and I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I know from the very bottom of my soul that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. My mother and father died when I was young, but I knew from a very early age that following the principles of the Gospel was the only way to be happy and have true joy in my life. So as I grew up, I followed those principles. I was married in the Temple and I have a wonderful family. Without the guiding principles of the Gospel, my life could have taken a very different course. As trials and hardships have come, the Gospel helps me to maintain an eternal perspective – to know that things will get better. I know that God will not allow any hardship in my life that I can’t overcome. I know that through the Atonement of Christ, I can one day live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day, not just Sunday. I serve in my ward as the service coordinator for the women. I visit and teach 3 women in my ward each month. Because of my experience, I try to be a resource for those in my ward and community that are interested in food storage, putting aside a little extra for a rainy day. I am very involved with my extended family and try to help out whenever I can. My goal is to follow in the footsteps of the Savior, one little step at a time.
