Hi I'm Dean

I live in Massachussetts and I love photography, good movies, and rock climbing. I work in the local film industry.

About Me

I work as a camera assistant on local commercials, movies, and TV shows. Whether at work or not, I seem to always have a camera in my hand, and can never take enough pictures. I rock climb in my spare time, I run, play frisbee, and generally just take in the outdoors whenever possible. I served my mission in Finland, and though it was hard at times, I loved it and learned so much. I try to live life in that manner, taking whatever circumstance I encounter and glean the positive, faith-building elements within.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because nothing has ever provided me with a better anchor, a better source of inspiration, and a better feeling of love. It can be hard at times to always do what the Lord asks, but the blessings that come of it far outweigh the trials. Prayer works. The Book of Mormon is true. And Jesus Christ truly leads his people through his prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to be a good example in all that I do. None of us are perfect, but always working hard, being a friend to all, and living the standards that we are taught will help those around us see the truth that we have. I do my best to participate in all church meetings, pay attention to all the new church media, and casually discuss my faith with those I come in contact with.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Dean
Proselyting is as essential to Mormonism as it is natural. If something gives such importance and meaning to your life, doesn't it make complete sense to want to share that with everyone around you? We all share what we know to be true in different ways and at different times, but our ultimate goal as members of the Mormon church should be to emulate Christ, the greatest missionary mankind has ever witnessed.
