Hi I'm Sierra

I am a high school student. I am a sister. I am a graphic designer. I love life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Junior in high school and very involved. I am the student-body secretary in our Student Leadership organization, vice-president of Fashion Club, a member of National Honor Society and the district Student Advisory Group. Somehow I am able to balance all of that as well as work part time as a tutor at Kumon Learning Center. After high school I am hoping to attend college at the same university where my parents met and both my sisters attended with a graphic design major. I have two older sisters and they are my best friends. We all share a similar love for life and shopping. My mom is the biggest support to me and one of my biggest role models. I am a complete Daddy's girl and him and I love to take fly fishing trips together any chance we get. When I am not busy with school, work, or spending time with my family I love modeling for a local photography company, reading, spending time with friends, taking long road trips, watching movies, going to Rockies games, and escaping to the mountains any chance I get.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church is who and what I am. I have been raised as a member of His church my whole life and can't imagine life without it. The gospel has brought so much peace and happiness to my life and the lives of those around me. Knowing that the trials I face are part of Heavenly Father's plan for me help me through the most difficult of situations. I know that I can always turn to Him and He is always readily available to me at any time and wants the best for me. Every day I try to draw closer to Him and try to be more like Christ. Even though I have grown up in the church, my faith still continues to grow and I continue to learn more and more about the gospel. I love every aspect of the gospel even though there is still much I need to learn. I find comfort in living my life by faith and knowing that I never walk alone.

How I live my faith

I live in an area where the youth program is extremely strong. I love participating with the youth in various activities and service projects. I have found my best of friends through the church and it is such a support having a community of people my own age who share the same standards and beliefs. I strive to improve my life each and every day by following the example Christ set and it is great having friends who help support me in those efforts.
