Hi I'm Jarom

I'm an Alaskan, a musician, a skier, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of two parents and eight kids. I have four older brothers who have all been 2-year missionaries for the church, and an older sister who is a missionary right now. I am also currently serving my mission, in Tacoma Washington. I love music, especially playing the piano. I also play guitar, saxaphone, clarinet, baritone, and tuba. I love accompanying singers and cellos. I attended a year at BYU and plan to go back there after my mission. I grew up in Eagle River, Alaska, and I love it there. If you haven't been to Alaska, you should go!

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a line of LDS families. I have been mormon all my life, and I love it. I have come to know for myself the truth of the gospel. I had many mormon friends through high school and i love the community of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eagle River Alaska. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

Before my mission, I served several callings in my local church congregation. I was in leadership positions for my youth groups through my teenage years. I also had the opportunity to serve as the church choir pianist, which i thoroughly enjoyed. I also served as a pianist in my congregation at BYU. I love to use my talents to help my church and my community. Music has a unique power and ability to invite the Spirit. Now as a missionary, I am serving full time to teach others about the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing them closer to him through baptism. I love missionary work!
