Hi I'm Daryl

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I like to prepare for the second coming of the Lord.

About Me

I am married with three children. I am a landscaping contractor and love to plant beautiful plants and trees. I spend a lot of time associating with people who are preparing for the events of the last days. We like to watch and learn together. I also like to learn more about personal freedoms and rights given to us by Heavenly Father. Some of my closest friends have been made in my educational and religious pursuits. I love God, my family and my country.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon because I the church has the fullness of the gospel lead by prophets and apostles. From the church, we can receive the Holy Priesthood and learn what we need to know to return to Heavenly Father's presence. My very best experiences in life have come from living and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know He leads us and helps us to return to Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday where I teach a youth Sunday School class. This is a very rewarding experience as we meet together weekly to study together the teachings of the scriptures. Our family gathers every day to pray and read scriptures together. Every Monday our family takes a little time in the evening to share family news, family schedules, personal schedules, religious songs, lessons and stories of faith, and of course family prayer. There is a lot of love in our evenings together and we usually finish with an activity or game. We often tell our children we love them. We try to provide a home of an enriched caring and loving environment.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Daryl
Joseph Smith Jr. was a man of excellent Character. Many of my great-grandfathers were close friends of his. Joseph was born in 1805 to Joseph Sr. and Lucy Mack Smith. He had 10 brothers and sisters. His parents taught him to pray, read the Bible, and to have faith in God. When Joseph was 14 and he prayed out loud for the first time, he saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. This experience is what we call his "First Vision." At age 17, Joseph began to receive heavenly messengers who prepared him for his role in the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth. He was a prophet, just like Moses, Isaiah and others in biblical times. Heavenly Father help Joseph to fulfill His mission to bring forth The Book of Mormon and to restore the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
