Hi I'm Sherae

I grew up in California. I have a wonderful husband and son and I run a daycare. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California and moved to Utah with a friend at 21. There, I met my husband and we were married in the San Diego Temple. We have a wonderful son who is such a joy in our life. I love to scrapbook, cook, and figure out how to make things on my own to save money (rugs, decorations, etc) I love kids and started a daycare.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church, but relied on my parent's testimony growing up. When I reached the age of 16 I stopped going to seminary and at 19 I stopped going to church. I hung around with people who did not support the beliefs of the church. I thought I could be happy without the gospel, but soon found this to not be true. Right before I turned 21 I started thinking about my future: where I was going and what I really wanted was a temple marriage and a family who lived the gospel. I started going back to church with the help of my childhood friend. Soon after, the idea popped into my head to move to Utah with my friend who was going to school at BYU. My mom was shocked because I said I never wanted to move there. I moved there a few months later and met my great husband a month after moving. If I had not moved there at that time we would have never met because the store we both worked at closed a few months later. I know the Lord was watching over me and always is. He wants us all to be happy and will provide a way if we let him in. That time was a hard time, but going through those struggles made me find out for myself which church was true and made me stronger. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church and through it I have truly been blessed in all areas of my life.

How I live my faith

My calling in the ward is teaching the 3-4 year old children. I love watching them learn and grow as the year goes on.
