Hi I'm Ream Nelson

I am a mom of 4, I am a photographer, I love to cook in the mountains and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 4 wonderful children. I love spending time playing with my family and friends. My favorite thing to do is take pictures. There is so much to be said in a picture and it captures that one moment forever. I also like to cook in the mountains, for some reason the food always tastes so much better in the woods. On my spare time I like to craft and make things with my hands. I have been married for 11 years to one of the best people I have known in my life. One of my favorite pass times is date night, it doesn't happen very often but when it does, it's great to spend that time with my eternal companion.

Why I am a Mormon

I lived in Saudi Arabia until I was 12 and I practiced the Muslim religion. I learned the importance in believing in something that will bring me peace and comfort. I loved how everyone believed in the same God and the same things. But there was still something missing in my life. We visited the United States when I was eight and I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day saints. I did not learn the gospel until I was 12. Growing up I had a really strong and wonderful foundation of family and friends. They taught me the importance of being strong in what I believe in. I believe in our Heavenly Father and in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. I am so grateful for the gospel and its teachings, to know I will be with my family not only in this life but in the life hear after, for all eternity. This gives me the strength and courage to keep the commandments and to be the best person I can be to my family and to those around me. I am so grateful for the Temple and the blessings we get from going there. I am so grateful for Joseph Smith for restoring this gospel for me and my family. So we can learn and grow together. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and watches out for me.

How I live my faith

I am a leader, a teach, a sister, and a friend. There are so many things to do in the gospel. I do visiting teaching every month, where I go to the homes of the women in the church and visit with them. This program is so wonderful, it is a tool to help everyone know they are loved and there are people out there to help them in times of need. I am a teacher at church, I teach the woman every 3rd month.I plan out activities to do on a monthly basis with the women as well.
