Hi I'm Steven P. Wright

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a plumber, self employed, married and have 5 wonderfully diverse children and one grand-daughter. We have lived in California, Texas, and spent a little time in Tennesee, but have now settled down in Arizona. (but its a dry heat!!). I love to laugh, and to make everyone else laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church, so growing up in the primary program and learning the gospel from a young age it has always been a part of my life. But as with everything, there comes a time when I had to answer the question "WHY"? I am a Mormon because, the spirit has testified to me many times the truthfulness of this gospel. When my prayers are answered by that still small voice, there is no denying it. I know that Gods plan is for all of His children. He sent Jesus Christ as a savior to all the world, to pay for our sins and provide a way for us to be forgiven. I know that He has a living prophet on earth today to guide us and direct us. He will not abandon His children on earth. He loves us all and knows us all. He has given us the power of prayer for all of us to know for ourselves. Don't ask me, ask Him. I did.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher, and have recently been called as Scoutmaster, and adviser to the 12 year old boys in my ward. I love both of these callings, and am so greatful for the opportunity to share the gospel and learn from the people I am able to serve, and serve with. As a home teacher I visit the house of different families each month and share a message with them, and feel the spirit of love and truth. As an adviser to the 12 year olds, I am able to work with some of the future leaders of our community. With the scouts we are able to see some of the cool camping spots in our area, and hike some of the mountain trails around. We also do service for the community, and are able to teach the young men how to love and respect the land and serve others.
