Hi I'm Wendi

I am a mother and grandmother. I also work full time as the retail manager of some pool & spa retail stores and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to a wonderful man and have 4 children and a step daughter. We also have 3 grandchildren and another one on the way. We like to do things as a family such as watch movies, play games and roast marshmallows in the back yard. We also very much like watching college football and professional basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with the gospel in my life, although while growing up, our family had periods of time when we didn't always go to church regularly. Even during those times of inactivity, I always believed deep down in my heart that the teaching of the Gospel were true. I have been married for 22 years now and have a beautiful family that we have raised in the Gospel and as I look back on my life, I realize that the times I have been the happiest were the times that I was regularly attending and involved in the activities of this church. I lost my father to cancer in 1993 and my sister in an accident in 1995. I am so grateful for the principle of eternal families and the knowledge that if I live worthy and follow our prophet, that I will be able to be with, not only my father and sister, but the other members of my beautiful family after we die. It gives me great comfort to know that death does not have to be the end of the relationships that we make here on earth.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend church on Sundays and try to be active and supportive of the many activities that are offered during the week. I have volunteered in the church in many different areas such as being the leader of the teenage girls and being the secretary of the women's organization. I love to be given assignments to organize different activities, such as Christmas programs and other spiritual events. I visit a couple of the women in our ward each month to see if they have any special needs and to deliver a special message from the leaders of our church. I seem to be much happier in my life when I am more involved in serving others.
