Hi I'm Greg

I grew up near Washington, D.C. I'm a husband, father, and a high school teacher in Texas, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a public school teacher. I met my wife while we were both on an internship teaching adult literacy in rural towns in Mexico. We have four children (2 girls and 2 boys). My wife stays home and somehow we make it work on a teacher's salary! I love spending time with my family. We enjoy singing together, going for walks, playing the Wii, and watching talent competition TV shows. I have a Master's Degree in Education. I have fun providing training for foreign language teachers around my state and around the country too. I also enjoy entertaining my kids with voice impersonations!

Why I am a Mormon

I love Jesus Christ and I really feel that his entire gospel is found here. I love the fact that my family is eternal, they mean everything to me. Being a Mormon makes me happy. ¡Ser Mormón es ser feliz!

How I live my faith

I try to do my best to live the gospel and to show that true happiness comes from being a Christ-like good person. My volunteer responsibilities have included teaching classes on Sunday (I have taught children from age 8-12, teenagers, and adults); working with the scout troop sponsored by our congregation; teaching the early-morning scripture study class that our high school youth attend; and being a counselor to our bishop (like an assistant pastor). Currently, I have an assignment to work with several congregations in our area. I get the opportunity to speak in a different congregation every month and I help with the needs of all the buildings in our area.
