Hi I'm Diana

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in a small town, Shelton, Washington. When I was 20, I met my best friend, Rich. He was a Mormon!

About Me

I have six wonderful children, twenty super grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Currently enjoying the SUN in Arizona, retired from accounting, cna, reflexology and real estate. I still need to complete my Senior Year at The Evergreen State College in WA, which I hope to do before I'm 80. I love to take pictures of nature (birds, flowers, mountains, water, stars, skyscapes, anything of natural beauty), learning more about the piano, love to garden with color, swimming is my passion for exercise with an occassional walk. Love to serve in the church, more than being served.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm far from the perfect Mormon, but I feel God's Plan directed through his Prophet is PERFECT. I was impressed in my 20's with the perfect structure and organization. I like the lifestyle and the principles that the church has to offer. I strive to learn from the leaders, the manuals, the lessons, the classes and most importantly the Scriptures each year of my life. I have found no purer way of life. The Word of Wisdom is inspired and true. I feel the contentment of living the "Mormon Way" and no other way. I believe God can prompt all of us, Mormon or otherwise, to do his will and to choose the right, but I have not seen another church or people, strive to live and practice perfection to the extent Mormons do, thus I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in many ways over nearly 40 years. In each calling, I have learned mored and gained more than anyone else. My self confidence in speaking, in leading and in general has improved 100%. The journey has been rewarding with opportunities to serve that led to personal growth that would not have come to me as a bystander. The Mormon church calls you to serve in areas that you are not trained in, then with the help of the Lord, you GROW. I'm grateful for all of the opportunities the church has given me to develop my talents and to touch others lives. Through Repentance and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I gained a sure testimony the "God Lives and Jesus is the Christ, my Savior" and I know HE has guided my life for good.

What is faith?

Diana
This has always been my favorite scripture in the Book of Mormon: ALMA 32:21 And now as I said concerning faith- "faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true" Show more Show less
