Hi I'm Reid.

I'm a husband and a father. I'm an accountant and a triathlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life revolves around my faith, family, work, and recreation. Being born to a military family meant moving around quite a bit but I feel I grew up on the east coast, before finishing high school and attending college out west. I consider myself a recreational triathlete, and therefore my recreation of choice is competing in triathlons. I participate in several races each year, including recently completing a half-ironman race. My family is very active and we enjoy virtually all forms of outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking, camping, running, and biking, which makes settling in Colorado one of the best decisions we've made. I'm an accountant by profession, and I enjoy the challenging work and good associations with my colleagues.

Why I am a Mormon

Striving to follow Jesus Christ means seeking after His truth, and seeking confirmation from Him from where truth comes that it is true and real. Like many others, I have learned and continue to learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the holy scriptures and by living prophets, and I constantly receive the confirmation that this knowledge is true through inimitable communication from a loving Heavenly Father. My life is more fulfilled and I am happier the more I learn and the more I live the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to do what I know is right. This will sometimes mean choosing the less "popular" option, or traveling the less-traveled road. In such circumstances I have always been comforted by a God who knows me and my dealings. A large part of doing what I know is right is constantly serving others. Whether through regular 'check up' visits to other local church members and neighbors or by donating time and toys to the local Children's Hospital toy drive, my family and I get to experience and feel a small part of the love that God has for all of His children.
