Hi I'm Adam

I was born, raised and live in the Northwest. I am a father of two and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am husband and father of two wonderful boys. I have enjoyed living in the Northwest for most of my life. This part of the world is wonderful as you are not too far from mountains, the Pacific ocean, desert like areas and lakes and rivers. For work I am a manager of a large automotive service department. The auto industry has been apart of my carrer for 15 years. I am sure I stick with it because of my love to work, speak and lead people. While I was working I also worked to complete my undergraduate degree. It took me a little over eight years to complete my degree from a major Washington State university. I am very pleased that I accomplished this and was only able with the support of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when she was expecting me. I have chosen to be a member of this church because of the influences my family, friends and the Spirit of God has had on my life. Through my younger and teenage years the teachings of the church helped me avoid many danger areas that one can easily trip into. I know that during my years in junior high and high school that having friends with similar values kept me on a path of goodness and happiness. Not all my growing up years were easy and peaceful as my family dealt with divorce, sickness and the loss of loved ones. Being a member of the church has increased my ability to know God's plan and love for me. I know that God wants me to make the right choices that allow him to bless me and my family. I want my life to be an example for my two boys to emulate. I am proud of the standards that are set for me and my family to live. I know that God speaks to prophets today and has given us the scriptures combined with modern revalation for our benefit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a member of the church giving of my talents and time as I am asked and how I see I can best bless the lives of others. Currently I participate in my home ward as a counselor to the Bishop and as a home teacher. As a home teacher I am able to enter the homes of members, with an assigned partner, and share a faith based message, assure that all is well in the home and that the basic needs are being met. While I do this montly I find that I am building my own faith and making new friends too. As a counselor to the bishop I am there to help lighten his responsibilities. I assist in finding speakers to address the congregationon Sunday's, oversee a portion of the youth; ages 12 -14 and various other tasks that help move the work of the ward forward. I love to participate in our activites - camping, picnics, parties and meetings.
