Hi I'm Jef

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 51 year old husband and father of 5 great kids. My oldest 2 are attending BYU, a daughter and a son. My middle child, a son, is on a mission in Argentina. I have 2 younger sons at home, one 17 and one 15. I love spending time with all the kids, although it happens less often as it once did. I see the day when I will have no more children at home and I find the thought very sad and happy at the same time. I enjoy working in the yard, spending time with good friends and visiting other places.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the doctrines and the principles to be the true path to our Heavenly Father. It is my most precious hope that I can return to live with Him one day, therefore, I embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His church.

How I live my faith

I was involved in the construction of a food bank in Mattawa, with other good volunteers. I was also involved in the construction of a building used for early morning religious instruction for the youth of our church. I have served in numerous leadership positions within the church, including leading adults and young men. I served a 2 year mission in Arkansas, and found the mission to be a significant contribution to who I am today, and the values I embrace. I am grateful my sons have served missions, and wish to serve missions.
