Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Systems Engineer with an IT firm in Seattle, I enjoy all things techy and am an avid gamer. I have 3 amazing children that testify to me that the chosen ones were indeed held for the latter days.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born into the LDS Church, I am what is called a convert. The faith I was raised in gave me a very strong testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for us but did little in the way of instructing me on modern revelation or the nature of the Holy Ghost. It wasn't until I started investigating the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I gained that testimony. I learned firsthand that Heavenly Fathers plan included a witness or testifier to answer our deepest questions about scripture or any facet of our lives. Using this model I studied the scriptures and asked my questions and received my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I learned that ancient Prophets existed on this continent and that their testimonies as written in the Book of Mormon could be verified through prayer and confirmation by the Holy Ghost. Its been the greatest blessing in my life to know that I can kneel in Prayer and receive answers to my most important questions: "Is this Church right for me?" "Is she the one I'm supposed to marry?" these and many other questions my Heavenly Father has blessed me with answers for. I am a Mormon because I know this Church is true, and I have a witness.

How I live my faith

Wow that’s a tough one for me to answer but I would say through service and prayer. I try not to turn down any opportunity to serve when I am able. A calling, helping someone move, mowing my neighbor’s yard when he is out of town, those kinds of things. And through prayer, I pray a lot, whenever I have a question about something I need an answer to, I take it to Heavenly Father in prayer, because I know he listens and he answers.
