Hi I'm Darwin Dixon

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Carbon,AdamsIowa I raised a family of five children I have 31 Grandchildren and 56 Great Grandchildren

About Me

I served six years in the army.I was stationed in Tokyo Japan and the Korean Penninsula.I worked as meat cutter am now retired . I joined the Church in 1954 and have served in many positions over the years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized after being taught by my wife who was taught by two sister misssionaries. When the Holy Ghost bore witness to me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they taught is true with no shadow of doubt was true I decided we should be baptized. When the spirit whispered to me of the truthfullness of their message it was like walking through a darkened tunnell and suddenly coming out into the bright sunlight. My testimony of Jesus Christ has grown over the years. He is the Savior of all mankind if we will but except him. He paid the ultimate sacrifice in the Garden of Gethsemane when he atoned for all the sins and sufferings of all the inhabitants of the earth before, now and all thru the future. He provided the opportunity for resurrection for all the inhabitants of the world by giving his life on the Cross of Calvary and taking it up again after being lain in the tomb. After many years of apostasy of the Church He organized, He with the Father restored the Priesthood authority and the keys of restoration to the boy Joseph Smith Junior, which will never again be removed from the earth until the Savior returns in Glory.

How I live my faith

I have spent the rest of my life serving in a number of callings in the church without monetary offerings. It has been a pleasure to be of service and to be served. My five children have all been faithful to the Savior and raised their 31 children in the gospel who have their 45 children in the gospel. I also served a short time as Mayor of our small community.
